Heather King-Prentice APRN-CNP is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. As a nurse practitioner she has gained experience in family practice, internal medicine, and urgent care. Prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner she worked for 10 years as a Registered Nurse in a variety of settings including emergency department, medical/surgical, obstetrics and hospice. She has spent the last 8 years teaching for East Central University in the School of Nursing while practicing as a registered nurse. She came to work for Holdenville General Hospital from Arbuckle Internal Medicine in Sulphur, Ok. After working for the hospital in the Allen Health Clinic for the last 7 months she decided to purchase the clinic. With this purchase she hopes to bring new services at lower costs to provide the best care available for her hometown.
Education
Heather graduated high school from Allen in 2001. Her higher education includes a Bachelor’s of Science from East Central University in 2006, Masters of Science from Oklahoma University in 2010, and a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in 2015. Heather has a unique compassion for caring for others and is very excited to begin this journey as the new owner of Allen Health Clinic, LLC.
Kristi Stephens
Medical Assistant
Kristi Stephens is the medical assistant that will be joining Heather in her new practice. Kristi has worked in health care for 15 years. Kristi has been employee of Holdenville General Hospital for the last 7 months and was previously employed by Allen Rural Family Medicine for 5 years. Kristi graduated from Allen High School in 2001, and became a Certified Nurse Assistant in 2003. Kristi is hardworking, energetic, and compassionate. She is dedicated to helping the clinic grow to its full potential.
